The dreaded job search.

If you’re anything like me, your resume may not do you as much justice as it should. I have no problem getting an interview, but it’s almost never been from simply submitting my resume and has almost always been from selling myself in person. This is one reason why I love job fairs. These meccas for job-seekers are the best way to get your foot in the door with a company and it gives the company rep a chance to interact with you face-to-face. And let’s be honest – a lot of the exhibitors hand out free stuff. Free is definitely in my budget.

We’re going to make this short and sweet: for your convenience I have taken it upon myself to dig up the info on a few upcoming local job fairs happening within the next few weeks. Happy hunting!

Some people give me funny looks once they find out that I'm talking to myself. Truth be told - sometimes the conversations are just more entertaining when they're with myself. My kids say I'm crazy, but I prefer the term "colorful."
