TEDx Fort Wayne: Be Inspired

ted_x_main5TEDxFortWayne returns for its fifth year. 2015 promises to not only deliver but to inspire. If you’ve never heard or been to a TEDx event, you might want to take a few minutes and do a quick search on YouTube. The ideas, concepts, speeches, and deeply personal stories that have been shared at these events over the years have changed my life.

TEDxFortWayne had decided to give ideas and the vision of their speakers a larger voice. They want to create opportunities for individuals to connect and then build on ideas. This year’s event will not only connect you with the speaker and those in attendance but with yourself, which is not an easy task. I always walk away from a TEDx event feeling like I am able to recognize the best parts of myself and then put one foot in front of the other on a road to recognizing my biggest dreams.

This year’s event will be held at the brand new (and gorgeous)
Parkview Mirro Family Research Center off of Dupont Road. Located at 10622 Parkview Plaza Drive, this new location is just the spot to enjoy this event. There are still tickets available for the May 16th event that lasts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you can’t attend the entire day, you’re still encouraged to purchase a ticket for as long as you can attend.

There will be a total of fourteen guest speakers this year. Each speaker will help break up the day and deliver a unique perspective or idea to share with you. Those chosen represent some of our region’s finest. From seasoned-speakers to new additions, you will see a diverse group of people of every age talking to you about connection and leaving you feeling not only moved but deeply inspired.
