Friday, July 31st

1. FW Children’s Choir Choralfast

All of the choral ensembles that make up the Fort Wayne Children’s Choir will be performing. This is a FREE Family Concert with ASL Interpretation.

2. I Will Wait – The Veteran’s Spouse Project
8:00 – 10:00 pm
Parkview Physicians Group Arts Lab

Tickets: $20
I Will Wait The Veteran’s Spouse Project is about sending a loved one to war. Using actual spouses’ experiences, they have woven a story told through music, dance, and drama to show the vast range of emotions it takes to bid goodbye and welcome service members home.

The first image is Bridget Pearson, who is playing the WWII spouse in the show. The second image is Amy Ball-Uptgraft, who dreamed up the project and is co-writer. She is also acting as Operation Enduring Freedom spouse in the show. She’s a real life military wife.

3. Botanical Roots – Wayne Baker Brooks with Swick & Jones
8:30 – 11:00 pm
Botanical Conservatory
1100 S. Calhoun St.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
Opening acts will begin at 8:30 p.m.
Headliners will perform approximately 9:15-11:00 p.m.
Tickets: $6; children age 12 and under will be admitted free with a parent or guardian.

The Botanical Roots concert series is open to all ages. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Mad Anthony Brewing offers food and full bar service. Bringing cash is recommended. Saturday, August 1st

4. FW Adventure Games

5. BAALS Music Festival

6. West Main Street Antique Market MAKEUP DAY
9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Power Components Corporation parking lot
1936 W. Main St.

Fort Wayne experienced some pretty severe weather on the original date they planned to have their antique market, so it’s only fair that they get a re-do! Stop by for a day of vintage, antique, up-cycled, handmade and shabby chic goods, as well as food and music on Saturday.

An engaging program for recently diagnosed individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. Enjoy FWMoA and learn how we can impact your life with the visual arts! Learn more about dementia, life after your diagnosis, and resources for enjoying your life. 8. Katrina Mitten-Miami Beadwork

History Center members & ages 2 and under free

Miami Indian Heritage Days at the Chief Richardville House is every First Saturday from May to November. Each visit lasts 1 to 4pm. A guided tour of the house is also included!

Sunday, August 2nd

9. FW Fringe Festival
Opening festival day (2nd) 11:00 am – 9:00 pm

Fort Wayne Fringe Festival seeks to give cutting edge artists a venue in which to perform and provide larger groups with an opportunity to throw caution to the westerly winds, taking risks with productions that might otherwise be out of the scope of their standard subscription fare.

10. LFW Concert Series –  Farmland Jazz Band (Opening) & Freak Brothers

The Living Fort Wayne Concert Series is open to people of all ages. We will showcase and celebrate local musicians, local food trucks, and our downtown rivers. Bring the kids for a family fun event, take a free pontoon ride, or come with friends and enjoy a nice cold beer from JK O’Donnell’s (must be 21+ to purchase).
