Zombie Overnight: Survive The Outbreak
You get to spend the night at Science Central on October 23rd!
Keeping with the zombie theme, but safely tailored to ages 6 and up. The science center will host the first of its new overnight programs called, “Zombie Overnight: Survive The Outbreak”. Participants are encouraged to grab their pillows and sleeping bags and prepare for an impending Zombie Apocalypse. Kids will explore Science Central after dark and get hands-on with experiments not for the faint of heart. Spend the night among the exhibits and wake up to a light breakfast.
Children must be 6 years old to attend. Families and groups must maintain a ratio of at least 1 adult to 8 children. Chaperones must stay with children at all times. Tickets purchased online cost $18.00 per person. Tickets purchased before Friday, September 18, cost $15.00 per person.

As an architecture and history buff, I love the haunted history tours presented by ARCH. You get to explore downtown while learning about our city’s past. After hearing all the sordid and spooky stories, you’ll never look at Fort Wayne landmarks the same way again!
Murder, Mystery and Mayhem Tours – October 17th
Haunted History of West Central Walking Tour – October 24th

Howl O’ Ween is a family-friendly “safe” celebration that takes place throughout the sanctuary. Park at the 4-H park adjacent to Black Pine and enjoy a free horse-drawn wagon ride to the sanctuary! Enjoy seasonal decor, and animals, a bonfire, and refreshments. Trick-or-Treat stations will be set up for the ghosts and goblins, too!
Costumes optional. (Staff reserves the right to restrict access for especially elaborate, large, unusual costumes that may disturb the animals.) Dress for outdoor activities, some shelter provided.
All proceeds help fund the winter care of the animals.
Saturday, October 31, 3-6 p.m. Admission: $5.00 per person, ages 3 and up. Park Pals free!
