LFW Top Picks for Fort Wayne Summer Festivals

Happy first day of Summer! With Summer being here, festival season is now in full swing. Summer in Fort Wayne is the best time of year to visit these festivals and get your fill of food and fun! After a successful couple weeks with Germanfest and Ribfest, here are some other festivals to look forward to this season!



Come enjoy a large selection of Greek food, dancing, and other fun activities. If there is one thing that Greekfest does best is provide excellent hospitality. Come for the food, stay because you won’t be able to move after your meal. Opa!

When: Thursday, June 23 to Sunday, June 26, 2016

Where: Headwaters Park

Cost: Thursday-Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and all day Sunday is FREE, Thursday-Saturday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. is $4. Attendees over 65 can get in for $3 and under 16 are admitted FREE.


Riverpalooza 2016



Home to the Dragon Boat Races! This festival will include boat rides, entertainment, and other activities to enjoy right before you hit Buskerfest!

Where: Headwaters Park West

Cost: FREE

Three Rivers Festival


Everyone’s favorite festival is back for their 48th year! Big rides, live performances, arts and crafts, and, not to mention, Junk Food Alley! Don’t forget Fort Wayne’s biggest parade on Saturday, July 16th! Other events and information is located on their website.

Fort Wayne Pride


This year’s Pride will include a beer tent, talent from local performers, multiple vendors, KidSpace, and so much more. This is your opportunity to celebrate with over 15,000 LGBT and allies! DEV will also be highlighting the main stage on that Friday. Don’t forget the Pride March on Saturday, July 23rd at 11:15 a.m.!

Time: Friday 7:15 p.m. to 12 am. Saturday 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.

BAALS Music Festival


It’s back to the block! BAALS Music Festival is known for throwing the biggest party of the year with live EDM. It has grown since starting only a few years ago and has become a staple EDM event in the Midwest! More information on tickets, performance lineup, and FAQ is located on their website.

Time: 5 p.m.

Where: Columbia Street on The Landing

Cost: Varies depending on ticket. $15 for two-day admission. VIP tickets available.


Allen County Fair

Home to the Allen County 4-H, the Allen County Fair is back for their 27th year! With carnival rides, food court, demolition derby, and even team pig wrestling, this one draws a large crowd! Get more information on their website.
