Another holiday season in Fort Wayne is now in the books for many of us! Today we take a look back at the season that was in Fort Wayne this year! While we couldn’t make it out to everything our area had to offer, here’s what really caught the eyes of our Instagram photographers.
We started off the Christmas season in November when we checked out the “Snow Days” exhibit at the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, an enclosed conservatory located right in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne. Check them out year round for more events and activities.
On December 9 we headed out to the Holiday Pops from the Fort Wayne Philharmonic at the beautiful Embassy Theatre. If you are new to Fort Wayne and love music, the FW Phil and the Embassy are a must-see.
Fort Wayne has plenty of holiday shopping options with Jefferson Pointe (along with Glenbrook Square) being two of the largest in the area. Jefferson Pointe was decked out for Christmas with a beautiful display in front of Von Mour.
Fort Wayne’s Famous Coney Island wiener stand got in on the spirit this year by opening a holiday gift shop next door.
The area (hopefully) enjoyed a white Christmas before the current dip into a deep freeze! We took a quick stroll along Fairfield Avenue in the 46807 ZIP code to take in the scene.
Finally our team reflected on what the readers read the most in our blog as we plan for another whole year’s worth of content.
