Music, the River, and a Wednesday Night | The LFW Concert Series

Have you ever seen the little helicopter that hangs out in Headwaters Park West during downtown Fort Wayne festivals and offers rides? Did you know that the landing pad is actually an amphitheater? It’s OK, most people didn’t know either, but the folks over at Living Fort Wayne did, and they did something about it. The Living Fort Wayne Concert Series will kick off Wednesday, June 4 at 5 pm at the riverfront amphitheater in Headwaters Park West. All that racket about riverfront development in Fort Wayne is becoming something real with this event. Kick off the summer while celebrating local talent and enjoying our waterfront. What’s that you say? You’ll be hungry at 5pm and need to be late for the sake of dinner? Living Fort Wayne has you covered. There will be plenty of food and drink vendors to choose from, including a beer garden from JK O’Donnell’s and enough food trucks to keep you well fed. Bring your kids, bring your friends, bring your coworkers, all Living Fort Wayne Concert Series shows will be free and family friendly (don’t forget to bring something to sit on!). They’ll also be bike friendly! Take the trails to the show or if you’re feeling adventurous, stop by Fort Wayne Outfitters to rent a kayak and paddle down! Fort Wayne Outfitters will be offering discounts on bike and kayak rentals during the evening of the Living Fort Wayne shows. If you still aren’t sure, the spectacular talent at this concert series will surely woo you. Check out the full line up for each day below.
