Top 7 Bars for The Best Bros Night Ever

Work is over, the week is done, and now it’s time to loosen that tie and unwind with your guys. After a hectic work week, we at Living Fort Wayne can understand wanting to rage for the weekend. Here are some bars that have been carefully selected to ensure a great night out with the bros! Corner Pocket Located down the street from IPFW’s campus, this makes it a great place to catch a brew right after classes are over. $5.00 long islands/beaches and $2.75 domestics on Friday and Saturday nights. With frequent live music and a pool hall to enjoy, Corner Pocket has everything you need to scratch that college party itch. O’Sullivan’s Catch the game or a few adult drinks. This place is known for their pizza, cheap (and generous) drinks, and overall raggle-taggle atmosphere. If one of the stops is here, just get the pizza. Don’t ask questions, just get the pizza. Your crew will not regret it. Columbia Street West Talk about a great time in a spacious, fun bar and you’ve got Columbia Street West! Wednesday and Thursday nights they have $1 domestic longnecks and 2$ Coronas & Modelos! Weekends are filled with a live DJ ready for you to bust a move on the dance floor. The Deck at the Gas House Overlooking the St. Mary’s River, The Deck has the best summer atmosphere you can get in Fort Wayne. They have an amazing beer selection as well as top-notch cocktails that will leave you feeling satisfied and probably not able to drive. This place reaches maximum bro around 11PM-1AM, so plan accordingly. Rudy’s Cigar Shop A one of a kind place that serves up beer, wine slushies and cigars! Grab a stogy, head out to their cozy beer garden, and sit around a fire with your friends while enjoying Rudy’s selection of beer and wine. Did I mention that they serve Debrand’s Chocolate as well? Tower Bar & Grill I’ve heard from many sources that this place offers the best wings in town, and the rumor is so true. You deserve it, the guys deserve it, get those wings and pile them high. Shamelessly devour them devoid of any napkins until the end. The wings are so good that I would literally cater them for my wedding. Summit City Brewerks Friday and Saturday nights here are becoming increasingly popular, and how can it not when Summit City Brewerks offers half off bottles of wine on Fridays and live music on Saturdays? Wanting to start the weekend a little early? Summit City also has a half-off house pint night on Thursdays! I would also...

Top 6 Places For A Fancy Ladies Night Out

Ladies Night is the night that you can leave the stressful work week behind you and really let loose. It also a chance for you to reconnect with friends that you may not get to see that often. Living Fort Wayne understands and wants to give you that fun ladies night to unwind and make some new memories. So we complied a list of some of the best places around Fort Wayne to check out. So get that black dress out you’ve been dying to wear, grab your gals and head out to one of these mighty fine restaurants!   Catablu Grille A contemporary, classy environment with a big-city vibe will guarantee a good time at Catablu Grille! Best times to go are Mondays for $2.00 off all martinis and Wednesdays where it’s 20% off bottled wine. Main St. Bistro Located right on Main Street in Downtown Fort Wayne, this is the perfect location to walk to right after work! I would go there for their Happy Hour special which runs from 4pm-7pm on Thursdays. $5 crafts and martinis with select half-price appetizers? Don’t twist my arm. Hoppy Gnome Also located downtown on Berry Street, this place has newly added craft cocktails that you definitely don’t want to miss out on. Have each person order separate drinks and try them all at once! Also, you can’t go wrong with their signature sangrias loaded with fruit and white wine. Wine Down The name speaks for itself. If you and the girls love wine, this is the spot to venture to on a Friday night! You can try one of their handcrafted cocktails or take your chance on emptying your bank account trying all of their wines! Every wine has a different style and taste so don’t get too carried away (or do) with the wine card they provide you. Club Soda This place has a stunning, classy atmosphere with exceptional martinis. Be sure to be seated outdoors to soak up the last bit of Summer that we have left! Enjoy great food, drinks and company with live music every Friday and Saturday night at Club Soda. Chop’s Wine Bar Enjoy some amazing seafood while perusing Chop’s extensive wine list. Chop’s Wine Bar has a very intimate, cozy atmosphere while still keeping the vibe of a big-city right in our hometown. I would choose this restaurant to host a birthday or bachelorette party.   Check out our Top Picks for the Best Bros Night...
