Broadway Street Stroll Returns in 2017

From the  Broadway Street Stroll A post shared by Living Fort Wayne (@livingfortwayne) on Jul 3, 2016 at 1:49pm PDT Broadway Street Stroll returns for a second year of art, music, food and brew on Broadway Street in Fort Wayne on Sunday, July 23 from 1:00 to 6:00 pm. Broadway Street Stroll showcases the art, cuisine, breweries, retail businesses and event venues along Broadway. The stroll includes live music from local bands and vendor booths from the Fort Wayne area. Broadway Street Stroll made its debut in 2016, led by co-chairs Mandie Kolkman and Brent Drake. “The 2016 Broadway Street Stroll was a huge success! The first time festival was really well received. This gave the committee and I the momentum to elevate the experience for attendees this year,” said Kolkman in a prepared statement. Locations along Broadway that are participating in this year’s street stroll include The Philmore on Broadway, The Brass Rail, The Phoenix, Mad Anthony Brewing, Trubble Brewing, Terry Ratliff Fine Art Gallery, Fancy & Staple, The Hedge, and more to be announced. Live music will be at these locations. The performing bands include The Meat Flowers, The Snarks, My Apollo, Hales Corner, Rosalind & The Way, The Harlequins, Metavari, Heaven’s Gateway Drugs, Some Trainhoppers and more to be announced. Schedules will be announced closer to the event. Ticket information can be found here. Broadway Street Stroll is made possible by support from Strahm Building Solutions, Fort Wayne Airport Authority, Downtown Improvement District, The CW Fort Wayne, Atrium (A Program of Start Fort Wayne), WCYT 91.1 FM The Point, Paint the Town Graphics and Doctor Feelgood’s Inc. Additional Links Broadway Street Stroll page on Facebook Broadway Street Stroll event on Facebook Get...
