Trionfale Espresso Provides Quiet Nook for the DuPont Area

With the number of shopping centers and small local businesses located along DuPont, it is difficult for me to determine where to even start exploring these little nooks, especially with how busy the entire line of shops along the street seem to be. Trionfale Espresso is a little niche off DuPont near I-69, a few shops down from the Trolley Bar and the new Bagger Dave’s. Their menu is not extensive in terms of flavor options and varieties, but what they do, they do well.  They provide the typical brews (espresso, Americano, breves, cappuccino, mocha) from Counter Culture coffee, a North Carolina based company that works with artisan farmers. I got a vanilla cappuccino and it was smooth, delicious and I didn’t have to wait forever to for it to cool to start drinking it. Put simply, I wish that cup was never ending. Trionfale Espresso also has a variety of cakes and cookies that are baked on location.  The flavors vary depending on the day and the season. Since Trionfale Espresso is at the end of the shopping center, it isn’t very big, but there are still tables, comfy chairs, and plenty of space to set up camp to get some work done. There’s free wi-fi and, even though it seemed to be fairly busy when I stopped by, it was still quiet. Every Saturday morning from 10-noon, the café hosts Fort Wayne Cars and Coffee. The event is open for any car, make or model and for anyone who loves cars and coffee.
