Join us at the Hoppy Gnome for some networking! 2. Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Thursday, February 16 at 6:30 p.m. It’s everyone’s favorite childhood show (Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood) re-packaged for our kiddos — who doesn’t love it? Daniel Tiger will be in OUR neighborhood, so stop by and say hello! 3. 36th Annual Fort Wayne Boat Show and Sale Thursday, February 16 through Sunday, February 19 Also happening at the Coliseum this weekend: the 8th Annual Northern Indiana Golf Show. 4. Romeo & Juliet Friday, February 17 through February 26 (Times vary) This should be a great show. We all had to read this classic love story in school, so don’t miss your chance to see a live rendition! 5. Sips & Savasana Friday, February 17 at 6:30 p.m. Yoga. Art. Drinks. Everything good in life. 6. I Am Not Your Negro: Screening and Discussion Friday, February 17 at 7 p.m. “Whatever you think about the past and future of what used to be called ‘race relations’ this movie will make you think again, and may even change your mind” – A. O. Scott … don’t miss this Academy-nominated documentary that has the potential to change your life. 7. Civic Theatre Presents Memphis Friday, February 17 through February 26 (Times vary) This is such a fun show! It’s running this weekend and next, with great music and lots of laughs. You won’t regret it. 8. Dine 4 Rides: Mardi Gras Bash! Friday, February 17 at 6 p.m. Help CTN raise the funds it needs to keep providing rides in our community. There will be food, drinks, a silent auction, and a fun theme! 9. 2nd Annual Cupid’s Chocolate Chase 5K & Mocha Mile Saturday, February 18 at 9 a.m. Funds go to ALS Association of Indiana and Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. There will be chocolate! 10. Fort Wayne Ballet Family Series: The Little Prince Saturday, February 18 at 10 a.m. This is such a wonderful, classic story. We’ve read the book, watched the recent film, and now we’re super excited about taking our little girl...

Don’t let the cold weather keep you down. 3. Opening Reception Postcard Show & Sale, Heather Miller, Kim Vito Friday, January 6 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Lovers of art, check out the latest exhibitions at Artlink, along with the Postcard show and sale. 4. The Worst XXXmas Show Saturday, January 7 at 8 p.m. If you like “Burlesque, Comedy, Horror and low brow humor,” this is the show for you. It’s not family friendly … do not bring your family. 5. Winter Bridal Spectacular Saturday, January 7 and Sunday, January 8 Are you planning a wedding in 2017? I am. It. Is. Stressful. Maybe this Bridal Spectacular can help. 6. Three Rivers: A Brief History Sunday, January 8 at 2 p.m. Don Orbin, Historic Preservation Planner, helps us take a look at our beloved Fort Wayne and the rivers it’s founded on. 7. Educational Series: River Water Quality Monday, January 9 at 6:30 p.m. Find out the issues and important facts about our city’s rivers. January Topic: River Water Quality. 8. Eat, Paint & Be Merry – Winter Trees Drinkware Tuesday, January 10 at 6:30 p.m. Paint some winter trees on some pottery! There will be refreshments and prizes, not to mention the awesome drinkware you’ll get to take home and show off. It’s Holiday Season! Looking for fun things to do in Fort Wayne? Look no further! LFW compiles a list of fun ongoings and events that we’re excited about every week! Click on the event for more information about times, locations, cost, etc. 1. “Christmas at Home” with the Swinney Sisters Friday and Saturday, December 2 and 3 Celebrate the holidays in true victorian fashion at the Swinney homestead. The house will be decked in beautiful victorian decorations and light refreshments will be provided. 2. Fort Wayne Ballet: The Nutcracker Friday, December 2 through Sunday, December 11, Time varies This beautiful holiday tradition is finally here! 3. The Polar Express Pajama Party Friday, December 2 at 7 p.m. The annual Polar Express Storytime! Activities, coloring, and letters to Santa. 4. Midnight Sale Friday, December 2 from 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Hyde Brothers at night! There will be sales! If you wear something festive, you get a free book, so fun! 5. Santa Train Times and days vary, check their website for details. This train ride with Santa is so fun. The first round of tickets is sold out, but they are adding dates/times and more tickets will go on sale shortly! Your kids will have a blast, especially if they like trains. 6. Christmas on the Farm Saturday, December 3 at 1 p.m. Horse drawn wagon rides, Father Christmas, holiday vendors selling 100% homemade items, and more!   7. Mad Ants Vs. Windy City Bulls December 3 at 7 p.m. Check out the Mad Ants this weekend! For more information about the team, have a look at our latest article. 8. Bravas Presents: WTF Sundaze Saunday, December 4 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. If it’s not breakfast, lunch, or brunch, then what is it? The only way to find out what’s on the menu is by attending! 9. Holiday Open House and Sensitive Santa Visit December 4 at 2 p.m. This is awesome. If you have a child with sensory issues, this is an opportunity to take them to see Santa and get their picture taken. There will be a hot chocolate bar, christmas cookies, and lots of fun! 10. Moscow Ballet Presents: Great Russian Nutcracker Wednesday, December 7 at 7 p.m. This should be a wonderful, classic, traditional holiday show. 11. Pearl Harbor Day Remembrance Ceremony Wednesday, December 7 at 7 p.m. This...

Stop by for a good time! 2. Fort Wayne Fringe Festival Thursday, August 4 through Sunday, August 7 Fort Wayne celebrates cutting edge artists! There’s a full schedule on the event page, check it out! 3. Bark N Brew  Thursday, August 4 at 6:30 p.m. Perfect Paws Pet Rescue will be at Trubble to answer questions about their adoption program. If you love dogs and love brew, stop by! 4. JA Wine and Beer Festival Friday, August 5 from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Different wineries and breweries will be coming together for a tasting at Parkview Field to benefit Junior Achievement. There will also be a silent auction! 5. Summer Party Friday, August 5 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Food, friends and music at Fort Wayne Museum of Art! Music by Metavari with appetizers and cash bar by CS3. 6. Food N Film Friday, August 5 at 5 p.m. Vietnummy and Bravas food trucks will be at Cinema Center for another screening of “Hunt for the Wilderpeople.” 7. Smith Field Vintage Airplane Rides Saturday, August 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority partnered with Nostalgic Flights and Waldo Wright’s Flying Service so that you can take a flight in a 1929, 4-place-open-cockpit biplane or a 1943 warbird. Don’t miss this great (and unique) opportunity! 8. Brew Haven Saturday, August 6 at 2 p.m. It’s a craft beer festival on Main Street in New Haven. That’s the only explanation it needs, really. 9. Jim Gaffigan “Fully Dressed” Tour Tuesday, August 9 at 8 p.m. Jim Gaffigan is coming to Fort Wayne! Tickets are still available; get yours while you can. It will be a fun time! 10. August Walkable Wednesday: Back to School Wednesday, August 10 at 5 p.m. Walk or bike the North Anthony Corridor where local businesses are offering store specials and discounts. Don’t miss it! 6. Fort Wayne Pride July 22 and 23, Time varies There will be a variety of activities throughout the weekend, including the Pride March! 7. K105 Countryfest Saturday, July 23 at 1 p.m. Lee Brice, Jon Pardi, Clare Dunn, Drew Baldridge, LANco and Jordan Rager, should be a fun time! 8. Sweets So Geek Free Outdoor Movie: Labyrinth Saturday, July 23 at 8 p.m. Also a David Bowie appreciation night (that’s reason enough to go, right there). Vietnummy will be there and the charity for the evening is SCAN. Don’t miss it! 9. 98.9 The Bear’s Birthday Bash Sunday, July 24 at 3:30 p.m. Featuring Shinedown, Halestorm, Red Sun Rising and Devour the Day. 10. Allen County Fair July 26-31, times vary It’s fair time!
