Click on the event for more information about times, locations, cost, etc. 1. Fashion & Community #flightfulfw Thursday, March 9 at 6 p.m. This spring fashion show will benefit SCAN. There will be food from 800 Degrees, and a pop-up shop from Fancy and Staple! Don’t miss it! 2. Disney On Ice presents Dare To Dream Thursday, March 9 through Sunday, March 12 — Times vary We love the Disney on Ice shows. They’re always SO fun, no matter what your age! 3. First Presbyterian Theatre presents: The Children’s Hour Weekends beginning Thursday, March 9 through Saturday, March 25 – Times vary This seminal 1930s drama confronts some big issues, including lying and bigotry. 4. Arena Dinner Theatre- Getting Sara Married Weekends beginning Friday, March 10 through Saturday, March 25 – Times vary It’s a fun, romantic show about finding love in your 30s. 5. Get Green 2017 Saturday, March 11 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. They’re turning the river green for Saint Patrick’s Day! This is a family-friendly event with something available for all ages! 6. Bath Fizzy Workshop Saturday, March 11 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Drop in anytime to learn how to make your own bath fizzies! It’s $10 and you’ll walk away with three fizzies. 7. YLNI Members Event: Escape Room YLNI Members can join a team to see if you can defeat the Escape Room! The fun begins and ends at the Hoppy Gnome. 8. OLC, Secret Mezzanine, Fun While You Wait, We’re Ghosts Now Saturday, March 11 at 9 p.m. New Jersey natives Fun While You Wait and We’re Ghosts Now are on tour and stopping by Fort Wayne! Come see them play with local bands OLC and Secret Mezzanine. 9. Educational Series: Riverfront Design Monday, March 13 at 6:30 p.m. This month, learn about phase one of the riverfront development. It’s so much more than a beautiful new park! 10. Stargazing: Your Sky Tonight Wednesday, March 15 at 7 p.m. Science Central will lead you on a walk along the riverway for a closer look at the stars. An Art Showcase, Live Music, & Tacos Bravas! Thursday, January 12 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Art. Music. Food. All our favorite things. 2. Botanical Conservatory – Mary Poppins Garden Party January 14, 2017 – April 2, 2017 The theme for the gardens this season is Mary Poppins! It’s absolutely magical. Today is opening day, so be sure to check it out between now and April. 3. First Presbyterian Theatre presents: Heroes Thursday, January 12 through January 28 (weekends only), at 7:30 This will give you all the feels. It’s a funny, yet sad, show about soldiers who never quite recover from their experiences in war. You have plenty of opportunities to go see it, so don’t miss it! 4. The Trap Door January Showcase at The B Side Thursday, January 12 from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. True stories in front of a live audience. This showcase features stories from Mark Lahey, Christie Bowen, Joel Miller, Erica Anderson-Senter, Dan Kinnaley and Jennifer Watts. 5. Vegan/Vegetarian Brunch Weekend Yay! Vegan menu! They’re adding a veg menu to their existing menu, so for all you who can’t go without your meat – don’t fear! For those of us who are meat-free, we can grab a mimosa have some great brunch. 6. Winter Warmer Saturday, January 14 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. It’s the 4th Annual Winter Warmer! Tickets are limited, so be sure to get one before they sell out. 7. FW Bombshells Present Revolution: Real Live Girls! Saturday, January 14 from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. This show is all about celebrating the power of the female. They’ll be tearing down stereotypes and empowering women. In line with the message of the show, they’ll be holding a charity raffle for Charis House and a pad/tampon drive for the YWCA. 8. The Princess Party Tuesday, January 17 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Princess Party!
