Science Central looking for artist to design Little Free Library

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Science Central looking for artist to design Little Free Library FORT WAYNE, Ind. (April 25, 2018) – Science Central is looking for an artist/artists to design and fabricate a “Little Free Library”, which we plan to install outside of our building. The library, sponsored in-part by MHS Indiana, will be a permanent structure at Science Central. We want our installation to have a “science or tech look and/or action or motion”. The library will not be locked, so users can access books. It must protect the books from the elements, automatically close, and be accessible to users in all elements. We are planning for a late Summer 2018 installation. Additional information and the full Request For Proposals can be found at www.sciencecentral.org/little-free-library. We have scheduled an informational session at Science Central Monday, May 14, 2018, at 4 p.m. to meet with interested artists and try to answer any questions. Final designs and maintenance plans must be submitted by June 15, 2018, at 8 a.m. Media Contact: Andrea Colley Marketing Manager Science Central 260-424-2400 sciencecentral.org...
