Living Fort Wayne Spotlight: Lynn Altevogt

Have you ever wondered who the people behind Living Fort Wayne were? Or maybe you’re curious about the different things our team does every day that make Living Fort Wayne the go-to destination for all the great things happening in our city.  In this new spotlight series, we’ll be featuring a few of our amazing volunteers who will share a bit about their contributions to Living Fort Wayne and what they do outside of their volunteer work with us. First up is our Editorial Chair, Lynn Altevogt: What is your role within LFW and why did you decide to volunteer for our blog? I am the Editorial Chair for LFW. If I’m being realistic and I had to pick somewhere to actually live other than Fort Wayne, I think I would be happy in Indianapolis. My brother and sister-in-law live there and they have some really cool spots. Plus, I’d really dig running on the Monon Trail every day! If you had a friend coming in from out of town, what is the one ‘can’t miss’ thing you would show them or do with them in FW? Ok, this is totally cheating, but when my cousins and I were kids, every time they’d come to town we’d go to Science Central, the Zoo, and the Botanical Gardens. They would demand it every trip and we would be psyched to go. Every. Single. Time. Honestly, I still get psyched about all three of those places no matter how many times I’ve been! If you were going to karaoke tonight, what song would you sing? Probably something by The Spice Girls. Yep,...
