Monster Mash Halloween Bash at the Philmore Theatre

Monster Mash Halloween Bash at the Philmore Theatre

This past week, I had the opportunity to interview Brent Drake of Soiree. Brent is the epitome of a hardworking, down-to-earth person with big dreams. He never knew that first night back in March of 2015 hosting a house party called the “Squaw Creek Soiree” would lead to owning his own event planning company called “Soiree.” Interestingly enough, his friend Adam Garland mentioned the name Squaw Creek Soiree and Brent fell in the love with name and “Soiree” was born. Brent grew up in Fort Wayne and comes from a musical background. He graduated from Full Sail University in Orlando, FL and starting working at Jimmy John’s and through that position was able to network, meet the right people, and eventually go on to form the company “Soiree.” He and I agreed during our interview that you don’t need a big city to have big opportunities. For Brent, it’s not about the quantity of events hosted by his company, but the quality. He wants guests to remember attending a well planned and overall great party, not something just thrown together. If you are from Fort Wayne, you may have attended or at least heard of Brent’s last event: The Philmore Fest back in August. Now Soiree is back again hosting the Monster Mash Halloween Costume Bash at the Philmore Theatre on Broadway. The Monster Mash is this Friday, October 30th from 6pm to 1am. If you’re in town and want to have fun and enjoy a great Halloween Bash, this event is for you! I will be attending this event and can’t wait to see the musical lineup and take pics with my friends and our costumes in the photo booth! The Philmore Theatre has the capacity to fit 250 guests inside and 300-400 more guests outside in the parking lot so expect this party to be a great chance to meet new people 18 and older in Fort Wayne and have a great time rocking your costume! Want to win $150? Come with a creative and spooky costume and enter the costume contest! Guests can expect live music all night and drinks from Club Soda. There will also be from Bravas food truck. Guests can also enjoy a photo booth take pictures and make memories with friends and family! Music Lineup for the night: The Be Colony (psych-rock) @ 7 pm Trichotomous Hippopotamus (Blues-rock) @ 8:20pm Heaven’s Gateway Drugs (psych-rock) @ 9:40pm Woo Park @ 11pm Blake Blurry (DJ) @ 12 – 1 am Monster Mash Emcee/MC – Devin Middleton (of Second City, Chicago) and Isiah Gray Brent wants to give a huge shout out to Adam Garland and Keegan Godoy and says this event...
