Click on the event for more information about times, locations, cost, etc. Inaugural FORT WAYNE SOUP Thursday, March 30 at 6 p.m. The goal is to foster community and civic engagement through social and democratic interaction.  If you’re interested in learning more, check out the post. Second Chances Art Exhibit and Fundraiser Friday, March 31 at 6 p.m. This will be an amazing night raising money for an awesome organization in our community. Donnie Darko 15th Anniversary Late Night Screening… Friday and Saturday, March 31 and April 1 Special screenings of the newly restored 15th anniversary special of Donnie Darko! Maumee, Mary And Joseph Comedy Festival Friday and Saturday, March 31 and April 1 Don’t miss Fort Wayne’s first comedy festival. It’s sure to be a good time! Journey, Allen County War Memorial Friday, March 31 at 7 p.m. Who doesn’t love Journey? Fool Hardy History Saturday, April 1 at 1 p.m. Fool Hardy History challenges the public to identify unusual or mysterious objects from the museum’s 28,000 piece object collection. Guesses are submitted to History Center staff, and the individuals with the most correct guesses will win prizes. The Phil Masterworks: A Midsummer Night’s Dream Saturday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m. Three Shakespearean works are represented here in vastly different guises. The program’s centerpiece is Mendelssohn’s sparkling A Midsummer Night’s Dream, complete with actors reading from the Bard’s comedy. Science Central Spring Break Camps April 3 – 8 Have some fun and keep learning this spring break! Registration deadline is 2 days before camp begins … don’t wait! Fort Wayne Komets vs. Toledo Walleye Wednesday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. Spend your Wednesday evening this Spring Break with the Komets! Email us at info@livingfortwayne.com   1. Second Chances Art Exhibit and Auction Fri, March 11, 6pm – 9pm         Community artists were paired with Blue Jacket graduates to create artwork to tell the graduates’ stories of triumph. Some pieces of art will be auctioned off, and proceeds of the benefit go to Blue Jacket. There will be a cash bar and lots of fun! 2. Karaoke Classics Live Fri, March 11 at 7 p         It’s karaoke night for Heartland Sings! From Britney to Journey, the Heartland Vocal Artists channel your favorite artists by performing their hit singles accompanied by the instrumental combo. Audience members are encouraged to sing along, and a free drink is included in the ticket price. Good food, good eats, good music, fun songs — perfect night! 3. Creative Cocktails Saturday, March 12 at 5:30 p         This month’s Creative Cocktails event is at Club Soda. Meet some friends, and have a drink and a great time before the Axis Dance Performance! 4. AXIS Dance Performance Saturday, March 12 at 8 p         World-Famous, AXIS Dance troupe is performing at the Arts United Center! After the performance, there will be an audience Q&A. Don’t miss this great event!     5. St. Catty’s Day at Black Pine Saturday, March 12 at 1 p             Black Pine is open for a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration! Dress in green, grab the kids, and enjoy bottomless hot chocolate and beautiful animals! 6. Get Green Saturday, March 12 all day         Family fun all day long! There’s a 5k, the firefighters are turning the river green, and there are tons of other activities for all ages (Lucky Charms eating contest, anyone?).
