Help to secure scholarships for students in need and to create and sustain current outreach programming for the community. Jekyll & Hyde at Civic! September 8 through September 17 This is going to be an AMAZING show. Kick off the Halloween season with a bang! Walk and Talk with Mayor Tom Henry Friday, September 8 at 11 a.m. Have a chat with the Mayor while getting in your lunchtime walk. Semi-Annual Salvage In The City Saturday, September 9 at 10 a.m. I almost didn’t put this on the calendar because I wanted all the things for myself. Free Outdoor Showing of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Saturday, September 9 at 7 p.m. HP, Ziffles Zip n’ Go and Licensed Bar Services … what more do you want? Fort Wayne Autism Acceptance Walk Sunday, September 10 at 12 p.m. Raise awareness while having fun with the whole family! Be A Tourist In Your Own Hometown Sunday, September 10 at 12 p.m. It’s one of the best weekends! Check out all the fabulous things to do in our city. Doggie Dip Sunday, September 10 at 12 p.m. This event is open to everyone — take Fido out for the last swim of the season. Dog Film Festival! Sunday, September 10 at 2 p.m. After your swim, catch a film with your furry BFF. 4th Annual North Anthony Corridor Block Party Sunday, September 10 at 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Bands, food trucks, beer tents and more! Email us at info@livingfortwayne.com.   Vera Bradley Outlet Sale April 13 – 17               Oh, the Vera Bradley Outlet Sale. It’s once again upon us. Go brave those crowds and get those deals! Night Hike: Frogs and Their Calls Friday, April 15 from 7:30 to 10:30         Fun and educational for the kids, learn about frogs common to the area and their calls. Then go on a hike listening and searching for frogs! What kid doesn’t love frog hunting? Metamorphosis at the Botanical Conservatory Opening April 16, running through July 17         Hundreds of live, exotic butterflies will have their home at the botanical conservatory these next few months. Learn about their lifecycle, their habits, and their homes. You can also purchase a butterfly hatching kit for fun learning at home with the kids! Wooden Nickel Record Store Day Saturday, April 16, all day           14 bands will be performing in free, all ages shows. There will be over $2,000.00 in prizes. 600 FREE goodie bags will be given away. A $5.00 contribution to the Community Harvest Food Bank will be made with the purchase of any Wooden Nickel T-shirt purchased. The North Anthony location will have Sol Kitchen food truck and a beer tent featuring Dogfish Head Beer. Do I have to comment?
