Triad Fall Medication Disposal Day Friday, September 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Doing some fall cleaning? Don’t forget your medicine cabinet! Fall Harvest Festival Friday and Saturday, September 22 and 23 There’s going to be so many fun things to do on the farm! Kick off the fall season with great activities on this beautiful weekend! Return of the SOUP Friday, September 22 at 6:30 p.m. SOUP is back! Watch four presentations and vote on which project you think will most benefit our community. Safety Fair at Jefferson Pointe Saturday, September 23 at 10 a.m. The kiddos will love this safety fair, you grown-ups can get some useful information as well! Stop by! Hop On Brew Tour Saturday, September 23 at 1 p.m. This benefit for CTN will take you to our local breweries while you get to meet new friends. It should be a super fun time! It’s hop on, hop off style — so grab a ticket and come anytime! Come out and see us! 2. Put Your Own Oxygen Mask on First Thursday, March 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. There will be live music, an art show, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar. There will be food, drinks, shopping, and art. Scott … don’t miss this Academy-nominated documentary that has the potential to change your life. 7. Civic Theatre Presents Memphis Friday, February 17 through February 26 (Times vary) This is such a fun show! It’s running this weekend and next, with great music and lots of laughs. You won’t regret it. 8. Dine 4 Rides: Mardi Gras Bash! Friday, February 17 at 6 p.m. Help CTN raise the funds it needs to keep providing rides in our community. There will be food, drinks, a silent auction, and a fun theme! 9. 2nd Annual Cupid’s Chocolate Chase 5K & Mocha Mile Saturday, February 18 at 9 a.m. Funds go to ALS Association of Indiana and Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. Grab some Gouda Dip and meet some new friends! 2. Middle Waves Pre-Party & Poster Show Thursday, September 15 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Want to see some killer designs from local, regional, and national artists? Stop by the Poster Show! There will be music (of course) and free food and a cash bar sponsored by Calhoun Street Soups, Salads and Spirits! 3. Middle Waves Music Festival Friday and Saturday, September 16 and 17 It’s here! A couple dozen musical performances by national and local musicians, local food trucks and vendors, drinks, and lots of fun! You can check out the Middle Waves Pop Up Workshop while your there or do some Yoga at Middle Waves. It’s a weekend of good times! 4. Freud’s Last Session Septemer 16 through September 25 Friday/Saturday Curtain 7:30 PM Sunday Matinee Curtain 2:30 PM An intellectual show, it places Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis in a room together. “The conversation and debate sparkles with wit, articulate argument, and some pathos—as well as with surprising civility.” It should captivate audiences! 5. JOHNNY APPLESEED Yay! Yay! Johnny Appleseed! Food, fun, crafts, and more! I feel like it doesn’t even need explaining. 6. Muddy Trail Run & Adventure Walk Saturday, September 17 at 8 a.m. This is all about fun! There’s a mud pit, hay bale climb, river run, and sand dune climb, all spaced out on a 5K course. It’s basically a tough mudder that you can do with your kids! 7. Pits in the Park 2016 Saturday, September 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It’s a pup-filled, fantastic time! There will be food and vendors, a costume contest for your pets, and more! Go out and support this great cause. 8. Strides Of Hope Saturday, September 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It’s the annual walkathon for A Hope Center. YLNI Hot Spot Thursday, April 21 at 5:30 p.m.           This month YLNI is celebrating the leadership institute class of 2016. John Sampson from the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership will be the keynote speaker and will discuss what leadership means to him and how young leaders can help impact change in Fort Wayne. 2. Pique: Issue Two Release Party Thursday, April 21 at 6 p.m. (Hope Arthur at 8 p.m.)           After the hot spot, head over to Club Soda for some food, drinks, music and celebration of the release of Pique Issue Two! Hope Arthur plays at 8 p.m. 3. Unwanted Medication Collection Friday, April 22 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.             TRIAD and a few local volunteers are hosting medication collections at various Walgreens around town. Bring in your old medication so that it can be properly disposed of! 4. Design Week Closing Party Friday, April 22 7:30 – 10:30 p.m.         Send Design Week Fort Wayne out with a bang! Ticket holders receive one free drink ticket and appetizers by Club Soda. Attendees can hang out in a gallery-type atmosphere and enjoy the live performances of a variety of artists! It’s free for DWFW passport holders or $20 (plus fees) for non-passport holders. 5. The Color Run Saturday, April 23 at 9 a.m.         Get your colorful running on! It should be a beautiful day for this super fun 5K! 6. Touch-a-Truck Saturday, April 23 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.               Free event for the kiddos! Explore a variety of vehicles and chat with their drivers! 7. ZOO Opening Day!! Saturday, April 23 All Day                 I could not be more excited! The Zoo is opening for the season! There’s new animals, baby animals (have you seen the pictures of the baby penguins?) the Australian Outback has undergone more renovations, and it will be awesome! 8.
